For generations, sun and fun-loving families have been coming to stay in beautiful Waipu Cove, only 1.5 hours north of Auckland, at the southern end of unspoilt Bream Bay.
Camp Waipu Cove is a friendly holiday park situated right on the shore of Waipu Cove beach.

Spend your days relaxing on the white sands, surfing, swimming – this is the life…
The sport fishing in this part of the country is simply fantastic – you can even collect handfuls of fresh shellfish right here on the shores of Bream Bay. The kids will have a ball spending long days playing at the beach while you relax.

Camp Waipu Cove offers modern Kitchen Cabins which sleep up to 5 (complete with outdoor BBQs) and two spacious self contained cabins (sleeps 5) complete with free to air tv and DVD – a great choice for couples and small families who would rather not have to unpack camping equipment! Camp Waipu Cove also offers both powered and non-powered campsites so you can bring your motorhome, tent or caravan for a real kiwi beach holiday. There are two children’s playgrounds and large, clean amenity blocks which house the camp kitchens, bathrooms and laundries.

Being just a 1.5 hour drive from Auckland Airport also makes us an ideal ‘first stop’ on your campervan tour of New Zealand!

Please note: Bookings for Xmas / New Year / summer holidays are not taken until 1st May of each year, by phone only on that day, 09 4320 410. Office hours 7am - 9pm.

A Credit Card is needed to make a reservation online, but all bookings are then to be paid in Cash or using EFTPOS as we do not currently accept credit cards for payment.
Please ensure that your arrival and departure dates are correct as you will be charged for the full time booked unless altered in writing and received 21 days prior to the time booked.
CANCELLATION/REFUNDS: deposits are non refundable if cancellation occurs within 21 days of your booked date. A cancellation fee of $20 applies. Balance of accounts are due on arrival. Payments must be made for the full time booked. No refund for early departure. This applies to all sites at peak periods and to cabins all year.
