Waipu town centre is just a five minute drive from Camp Waipu Cove. Here you will find a variety of places to enjoy a hearty breakfast, good coffee or top-quality restaurant dinner. The closest city to Waipu is Whangarei. Both Waipu and our Waipu Cove accommodation are just a 35 minute drive from Whangarei.

Waipu also offers a large grocery store, along with great gift and craft stores that are well worth a browse. Waipu’s Monthly Market is held on the first Saturday of each month and is a great Northland attraction. Read more on arts and crafts in the Waipu area.
